CLYDE NICHOLS

Clyde Nichols is a New York City-based artist, writer, and recent graduate from The Cooper Union — where he was the recipient of the Dore Ashton Prize for Art History, Theory, and Criticism. His writing and photography have been published in Paper Magazine, The Brooklyn Rail, Office Magazine, The Drift, and Bloomberg Businessweek, and OVERSTANDARD. In 2023 he was selected as a finalist for the Aperture Portfolio Prize. He currently works in the studio of the artist Julie Mehretu. His artistic practice spans installation, photography, sculpture, drawing, and criticism.
